NJ Moda Week, 2025
I am still riding high after strutting my heart out at NJ Moda Week 2025! Held June 6–8 at the APA Hotel in Woodbridge, NJ, this three-day fashion extravaganza was a celebration of style, community, and unbridled creativity.
🎤 Day 1: Awards Gala – June 6
Picture a dazzling red carpet at 6 PM, followed by a gourmet seated dinner, powerful industry shout-outs, and heartwarming entertainment — that was our kickoff to Moda Week. As a first-timer on this stage, I felt both nervous and electric. I reflected on my journey—from small-town dreams in Iowa to walking the runway in New York—and was so moved by the community’s encouragement. The glow of awards honoring trailblazers filled the room with pure inspiration.
👗 Day 2: Fashion Show – June 7
Saturday night was runway magic. Emerging designers took the spotlight, blending bold silhouettes with streetwear flair. The energy backstage was contagious—confidence buzzing in the air, dresses swishing, music pulsing. Walking in one of the evening’s most talked-about shows, I channeled poise and passion, reminding everyone there’s strength in every step. And yes, my favorite highlight is the triumphant moment when lights hit, music dropped — and I was living the dream .
🛍️ Day 3: The Showroom – June 8
Sunday was refreshingly chill and empowering. Panels on empowerment, branding and fashion entrepreneurship set the tone for the day. Then came the showroom: a curated space filled with local designers, media creators, up-and-coming stylists — all under one roof . It was so refreshing connecting face-to-face, discovering stories behind the brands, and envisioning collaborations. Definitely one of the most inspiring days.
